I feel like this blog focuses a ton on the kids and not enough on Bradley. So here it is. Bradley is very artistic and amazing! He spends a lot of time playing Call of Duty. In the game you can customize your player card (profile pic) Bradley takes pride in his player cards and changes them frequently. I am going to share some of them with you now!

Puddle Jumpers
We were in VT for a wedding and while we were there it rained and rained and rained. With Rain comes something great PUDDLES!!!
They kicked the ball and threw the ball! The slid and they ran.
Braeden wanted to get in on the action so we took off his pants!
And we put his feet in!!!
But Caleb and Kylee loved it! And Braeden was happy to watch from the safety of Nana's arms!
My journey to cloth Diapers!
When I was pregnant with my first in the fall and winter of 2004 I had noble ideas of cloth diapering. I asked on my birth board and was laughed at. I searched the internet and I found nothing. My mother who had cloth diapered discouraged me, but in the end it was her who bought me some gerber prefolds and some rubber pants.

When my son was born I waited until his umbilical cord fell of and his circumcision healed. We decided to try. We put on a diaper and we pinned and we put on his rubber pants and we were so proud of ourselves. Saving money and the earth at the same time what could be better???? And about 5 minutes later when we were covered in pee we were not so excited. I tried for about a week. And after changing 10 outfits a day, I gave up. The idea never left my head but it was put out of my mind.
18 months later my little princess joined our family and the thought of cloth returned. You see we had 2 in diapers and it would have saved soooo much money. I started to research again, by then I knew a couple people who cloth diapered and I looked into it but the start up cost was unmanagable.
4 years later when the wee one joined our family I looked again. And I found affordable cloth diapers so I bought some(sunbabys) and then Brad won a giveaway from Calley the Eco Chic! I took that as a sign. Before my diapers came in the mail i research some more. I found out how to wash them and how to take care of them.

We were in VT when the diapers arrived at my house and I could not wait!! I got them home and prepped them that night!! The next day I went back to work from maternity leave and left Brad home to figure out cloth diapers. Now these cloth diapers are not the cloth with pins and rubber pants. These diapers are pocket diapers that you stuff with a microfiber liner and they have fleece that is close to the babies skin.
Here we are 5 months later and I love cloth diapers more than I did when we started! About 3 days into it Brad made a comment how they are just as easy as disposables. He does not usually do the diaper laundry but it is sooo simple. And here are my favorite cloth diaper pics! Just because my first post in months should include pics of the most beautiful baby!!

On second thought
Catching up sounds overwhelming!! I can not think of where to start so I will give you an update and we will go from there! Don't be surprised if I add some old stuff later on!

For now I will tell you what is new with us! Brad is currently laid off and staying home taking care of the kids! He is so great at it! He has been so amazingly helpful and does so much around the house. He is an amazing husband and father and has come so far in the 7 years we have been together.

I am back at work and for the record I love my job! I have been asked to help take over some of the responsibility of making sure the buses are all running and making arrangements for problems with routes!

Caleb is doing very well academically in kindergarten! He loves it and hates to miss school. He has learned how to read a little and is doing very well. Behaviorally he is struggling but we are working with the teacher to work out a solution! He is obsessed with superheros and is convinced he is one!

Kylee is in her final year of preschool and is such a sweet girl! She loves Dora and Team Umizoomi. Her favorite things to play with are her Polly Pockets and her littlest pet shop animals and her Squinkies! She is a very smart beautiful funny girl. She loves to take pictures and often takes over my camera or cell phone. It seems like I have a good suggestion for the Easter bunny!

Braeden is doing very well! He is a very easy going guy! He loves to smile and talk to people. He is working on giggling! He starts and then stops(video to come). He can roll from his front to his back but then gets mad! He still eats every 2 hours during the day(unless I am not there) but I am ok with it because he sleeps really well at night. Last Wednesday he is was weighed and was 13 lb 7 oz fully dressed. Not too far from doubling his birth weight! He has the best cheeks and some seriously expressive eye brows!
